IT career is not so Pop anymore

 IT nowadays innovates so much and so fast that it is no longer fun to follow, it is something tedious that each year is renewed and complicated.

People simply gave up on following and the fact of talking about their  certifications is of no importance, nobody knows what it is about, they just know that in a few months this information will be passed and dozens of much better and innovative things have already appeared.

It doesn't matter how much you study, how many certifications you have or how complex your IT activity is, you will always be “Cara da Informática“, “ Cara da TI “, “ O Rapaz dos Computadores “, this is so real and it is noticeable that young people are no longer interested in IT.

Sad this post is not it? Are you getting depressed? Calm that it will improve, I think ...

I will not deny, this part of  young people being disinterested  in your career I think is great. Less competition  and a huge market at my disposal, too bad this is not so.

For it is not only young people who are not interested in the profession. The companies, managers, directors, the market don't give a damn about IT, because Information Technology has become invisible, it has become a commodity and nobody values it until:

The computer stops;

The server hangs;

The system generates an error;

The data the company needs is insufficient;

Ransonware creates chaos;

Programmers disappeared and started to be disputed;

Pirated software or inexpensive ERP cannot handle it;

The competitor that has invested in technology begins to grow;

Etc.

Well, this is the good part, the IT guy is not so pop anymore, but it is increasingly  necessary .

The popularization of technology, the ease and speed with which it evolves and is consumed by the population and by companies has generated a  dependence  on technology and, when it fails in some way, crashes or fails to meet expectations,  chaos ensues .

Amid the chaos, the  IT Guy  emerges as the savior and problem solver.

The Field Service Technician delivers the service and customer assistance during field visits as per the client’s requirements. They manage all onsite fitting, patch-up, maintenance, and test cases. Technicians perform the diagnosis for the network and associated errors or technical issues and find the proper way out.

Usually the field technician work in the given site by the client, engaged in fixing and sustaining the network, hardware, software, and other telecom and IT-related set-ups.

So don't worry, because even though IT is not as cool as it used to be, it is an increasingly necessary profession.
